04 Nights – 05 Days · A breathtaking trek through ancient mountain culture and enchanted oak forests that leads to an incredible 12,185-foot ridge line with sweeping views of the entire Pir Panjal range.
Drive: A 29 km drive from Manali passing through the heritage town of Naggar, taking approximately 2 hours via private cab or trekker transport.
Altitude Gain: 2,050 m
Meal: Hot lunch and dinner provided at the base camp.
Camp Stay: Overnight stay in shared alpine tents or a base guest house at the Rumsu camp.
Activity: After registration, you will go on a light 1–2 hour acclimatization walk to explore the ancient wooden temples and traditional architecture of Rumsu village.

Altitude Gain: 3,200 m
The Journey: The trekking begins with a steady upward climb moving away from the villages and deep into the wilderness.
Meal: Fresh breakfast at base camp, packed lunch enjoyed mid-trek at the Ghan Kulhadi clearing and a freshly prepared hot dinner at camp.
Camp Stay: Wilderness camping in tents pitched under the forest canopy.
Highlights: The trail features a moderate incline passing through dense forests filled with oak, pine, fir, and horse chestnut trees, opening up to early panoramic valley views.
Trek Distance: ~2–3 km
Time Required: roughly 3 hours of trekking.
Altitude Gain: 3,463 m
The Journey: A shorter but steeper day designed to help your body adapt to the rising altitude while treating you to expansive open landscapes.
Meal: Hot breakfast, lunch and dinner served right at the mountain campsite.
Camp Stay: High-altitude meadow tent camping at Chaklani.
Highlights: The dense tree line gives way to vast alpine meadows and grassy highlands. A pristine mountain stream flows right past this campsite, providing a serene backdrop for an evening under the stars.
Trek Distance: ~8 km
Time Required: 7 hours
Altitude Gain: 3,714 m
The Journey: This is the summit day, requiring an early morning start to catch the clearest weather windows and the most spectacular views.
Meal: Early breakfast, packed lunch to be eaten at the pass summit and a warm celebratory dinner at camp.
Camp Stay: Overnight tent stay, returning to the sheltered Naya Tapru campsite.
Highlights: Reaching the ridge lines of Chanderkhani Pass reveals a breathtaking 360-degree panorama of the Pir Panjal, Dhauladhar and Parbati mountain ranges, with prominent views of the majestic Deo Tibba peak.
Trek Distance / Time Required: ~4–5 km downhill trek / 3 hours
Drive Distance / Time Required: ~29 km / 2 hours
The Journey: The final day is a swift downhill journey tracing your steps back to civilization.
Transport: Private vehicle pick-up from the Rumsu road-head dropping you back at Manali.
Meal: Breakfast at the high camp and a farewell lunch upon reaching the base village.
Camp Stay: High-altitude meadow tent camping at Chaklani.
Tour ends here with happy memories.
⚠️ Altitude Acclimatization Tip: The biggest single-day altitude jump happens on Day 2 (climbing nearly 3,800 feet). Remember to drink plenty of water, keep your walking pace slow and steady, and avoid sleeping immediately upon reaching the Naya Tapru camp to let your body adjust properly.
