Logistics Checklist
Water & Snacks: Carry at least 2 liters of water per person on Day 1. There are no shops, water sources or commercial establishments between the Shanan Power House and Winch Camp.
Camp Logistics: Since Winch Camp has absolutely no permanent hotels or homestays, ensure you have pre-booked a local guide/outfitter who will ferry the tents, sleeping bags and kitchen equipment up for your stay.
Footwear: Because the descent down Khooni Ghati on Day 2 is highly steep and filled with loose gravel, trekking boots with deep lug grips and a pair of trekking poles are highly recommended to save your knees.
