Distance: ~115 km | 3–4 hours
The Route: Receive guests at the Chandigarh Airport or Railway Station. Begin the smooth climb along the Himalayan Expressway, passing through Solan and Shoghi. Arrive in the historic capital of Shimla by afternoon. Spend the evening walking the legendary Mall Road, Ridge, and visiting the Christ Church.

The Route: Kufri, Fagu, Narkanda, Rampur Bushahr.
The Experience: Leave the bustling hill station of Shimla behind as you drive along the scenic Hindustan-Tibet Road (NH5). Watch the landscape transition from pine forests to deep river valleys. Arrive in the peaceful village of Sarahan, overlooking the majestic Shrikhand Mahadev peak.
Sightseeing: Visit the 800-year-old Bhimakali Temple, a masterpiece of traditional wooden Indo-Tibetan architecture.

Route Highlights: Tranda Dhank (cliff-hanging roads), Karcham Dam, Baspa Valley.
The Experience: Drive through the thrilling, hand-cut rock tunnels of Kinnaur into the breathtaking Baspa Valley. Head straight to Chitkul, the very last inhabited village on the Indo-Tibetan border, famous for its pristine air, traditional wooden houses, and the rushing Baspa River. Later, drive back down to the cozy town of Sangla.

Route Highlights: Powari, Reckong Peo.
The Experience: Park the vehicle and take the scenic, flat 1 km walk to the edge of the crescent-shaped lake. Watch the crystal-clear water change colors from deep sapphire to turquoise under the mountain sun.
Sightseeing:Roghi Village & Suicide Point (dramatic cliff views), Hu-Bu-Lan-Kar Monastery, Narayan-Nagini Temple.

Route Highlight: Khab (Confluence of Sutlej & Spiti Rivers), Nako Loops.
The Experience: Watch the mountain greenery completely vanish. Cross Khab—the confluence where the Sutlej meets the Spiti River. Climb the dusty Nako loops for lunch by a high-altitude lake, then take a stark desert detour to the remote village of Gue before arriving in Tabo.
Sightseeing: Nako Lake, the 500-year-old naturally preserved Gue Mummy, and the raw, moon-like mountain terrain.

Route Highlight: High alpine pastures, jagged mountain ridges.
The Experience: Spend your morning inside the legendary Tabo Monastery (founded in 996 CE), famed as the "Ajanta of the Himalayas." Afterwards, trace the wide Spiti riverbed and make a steep climb up to Dhankar Monastery, a fort-monastery precariously balanced on the edge of crumbling mud cliffs. Continue onward to Kaza.

The Experience: Embark on an iconic high-altitude circuit around Kaza. Visit Langza, guarded by a giant, golden Buddha statue facing the snow peaks. Drive to Hikkim to post a nostalgic card from the planet's highest post office. Complete the loop at Komic, one of the world's highest motorable villages.

Distance / Time: ~100 km | 4–5 hours
Route Highlight: Losar, Kunzum Pass.
The Experience: Visit the spectacular, multi-tiered Key Monastery, a fortress-like spiritual sanctuary. Cross the jaw-dropping Chicham Bridge, suspended over a 1,000-foot deep canyon. Drive up and over the mighty Kunzum Pass (4,551m), paying respects at the Kunzum Mata temple. Take the rugged, adventurous dirt track from Batal to the magical Chandratal (The Moon Lake).
Sightseeing: Key Monastic Center, Chicham Bridge (Asia's highest suspension bridge), Kunzum Pass summit, and a 1-km sunset walk to the shores of Chandratal.

Distance / Time: ~115 km | 5–6 hours
The Route: Batal, Chhatru, Gramphu, Atal Tunnel.
The Experience: Prepare for an adventurous morning tackling the legendary, boulder-strewn Gramphu-Batal stretch. This unpaved, rugged no-man's-land features thrilling glacier-melt water crossings. Once you hit Gramphu, cross through the engineering marvel of the Atal Tunnel, instantly transitioning from the stark terrain into the lush, green slopes of Manali.
Sightseeing: Rugged riverbeds of Chhatru, Lahaul Valley views, and a smooth cruise through the 9.02 km Atal Tunnel.

Distance / Time: ~270 km | 7–8 hours
The Route: Kullu Valley, Mandi, Kiratpur-Nerchowk Expressway.
After an early breakfast, bid farewell to the mountains. Drive down through the scenic Kullu valley, moving smoothly along the new expressways. Arrive back in Chandigarh by evening for your drop-off at the Chandigarh Airport / Railway Station. Tour concludes.
⚠️ Important Note: Spiti Valley is accessible from June to October only via Kunzum Pass. The route via Kinnaur–Shimla is open year-round. Altitude sickness medicine is recommended. Minimum fitness required.
